Dr. Anika Patz (YPOG)

Anika is an associated partner at YPOG. Anika advises banks, financial-services institutions and investment firms, FinTechs as well as trading venues, in particular on regulatory issues as well as matters of compliance and money laundering. Anika specializes in distributed-ledger-technology-(DLT-)based business models and regulatory issues surrounding the issuance, trading, staking, lending and custody of crypto assets, including security token offerings (STOs), stablecoins and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), as well as in centralized and decentralized exchanges for crypto assets and DeFi protocols.
Prior to joining YPOG, Anika was a senior associate at Eversheds Sutherland in the banking team led by Dr. Carola Rathke. Before that she worked as in-house legal counsel for Boerse Stuttgart Digital Exchange GmbH. Börse Stuttgart Digital Exchange is a Germany-based MTF for digital assets. Anika started her career at a Berlin-based law firm with a focus on banking and financial services law (including a secondment to Solarisbank and its subsidiary, Solaris Digital Assets).
