For over twenty years, Frank Dornseifer has been a dynamic force in investment, capital markets, and corporate law. His journey began as a lawyer at an international firm, followed by being the Deputy Head of Department at BaFin's Fundamental Supervision Division, where he also represented the organization at the Investment Management Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). Since 2007, he’s the Managing Director of the Federal Association of Alternative Investments (BAI). Parallel to his professional efforts, Frank Dornseifer has authored numerous scholarly publications on investment and corporate law, and he's a co-editor of leading commentaries on the KAGB and the AIFM Directive. His expertise is sought after by both the Finance Committee of the Bundestag and the European Parliament, where he's been appointed as an expert in legislative processes concerning capital market law on multiple occasions. Now, for over six years, he's been at the forefront of digitalization in asset management and the sustainable transformation of the finance industry, advocating for alternative investments in a digital and sustainable ecosystem.
