Leanne M. Pinto is the CEO of IPwe since the beginning of 2023 after joining as a president in 2022. Previously to that, Leanne was director of patent licensing, at IBM’s IP business group, where she personally generated over $150 million in revenue during her tenure.
Before joining IBM, Leanne held executive positions in business development, regulatory affairs, and compliance with several startup pharmaceutical companies. Her involvement with patents and their business value began in the pharmaceutical industry, where she represented both generic and brand pharmaceutical companies. Leanne holds an undergraduate degree in pharmacy and later achieved the doctor of law at Seton Hall University.
