Nisha Surendran (Citi)

Nisha serves as the Digital Assets lead for Tokenization, NFT, and Metaverse strategy within Citi's Institutional Clients Group (ICG). She also co-authored the 2022 Citi GPS report titled "Metaverse and Money: Decrypting the Future," a comprehensive 184-page analysis delving into the evolving realms of Metaverse, Web3, Crypto, and DeFi. With a background in computer science, Nisha possesses a keen interest in the convergence of technology and finance. Previously, Nisha played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding Citi Commercial Bank's presence in Western Europe and Israel since 2018, specifically focusing on start-ups and technology clients. She also led the eCommerce strategy for Citi Commercial Bank in the EMEA region. Nisha commenced her professional journey in 2008 and has accumulated diverse experiences in various banks across India and the UK. In addition to her engineering degree, she holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, India.
