Cristina Freudenberger (White & Case)

Christina Freudenberger is partner in the Capital Markets Practice at White & Case, in which she advises issuers and investment banks on capital markets law. Her focus is on the issue, underwriting and placement of all types of investment grade and high-yield bonds, promissory notes, covered or secured, convertible and hybrid instruments, and structured, as well as securitisation products. She also gained major expertise with assisting with green bond issuances and fintech-related matters such as bond issues secured by cryptocurrencies. Before joining White & Case 12 years ago, she gained legal experience while working at HSBC as a legal secondee, at Clifford Chance LLP and Allen & Overy. Prior to her legal career, she finished her Master of Law (LL.M.) at King's College London and did her doctorate at Albert-Ludwig-Universität Freiburg in 2014. Cristina Freudenberger is also named as a next generation partner for Germany - Debt Capital Markets in The Legal 500 EMEA 2021.
